What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information a website can ask a browser to store and return with later requests. LocalStorage is a separate browser feature that can keep information between visits. Neither is necessary for the editorial pages or local tools supplied with this journal.
What these pages use
The supplied HTML, CSS and JavaScript do not set cookies, read advertising identifiers, or write to localStorage or sessionStorage. There are no analytics, advertising or social-embedding scripts in this static edition. The mobile menu and scroll animations use temporary in-page state, not a persistent visitor profile.
The composer is temporary
The message composer uses the current field values to create text. It does not save a draft between visits. Copying places text on your clipboard; downloading creates a file at your request. These are device actions, not cookies. Your browser may independently restore fields or offer autofill according to its settings.
Caching and hosting are different
Your browser may cache images, styles or pages to load them efficiently. The hosting service may also use delivery or security features outside the page scripts. This statement describes the supplied journal files; it is not a guarantee about every hosting configuration, browser extension or separately added service.
Your controls
You can review cookies and site data in your browser settings, clear cached files, disable JavaScript, and manage clipboard or download permissions. The articles and normal links remain available without JavaScript. The local preparation, copy and download controls require JavaScript.
If the site changes
Any deployment that adds optional tracking, preference storage or third-party embeds should update this page and provide any notices and controls required by applicable law before activating those features. No optional tracking is included in the journal code described here.
